CHAP. XXXIII.

7 And Mofes took the tabernacle, and pitched ir without the camp, a far oft from the camp, & called it the Tabernacle of the com grega lon. And it came to pass, ther every one which fought the LORD went our unto the tabernacle of the congregarion, which was without the camp.

8 And it came to pafs, when Mofes went out into the tabernacle, that all the people rofe up, and stood every man ar his tent door and looked after Mofes, until he was gone into the tabernacle:

9 Aud it came to pafs, as Mofes entered into the cabernacle, the cloudy pillar defcended, and food at the door of the tabernacle,and the Lord talked with Mofes

ANd the LORD faid un.
to Mofes, Depart, and 10 And all the people faw
go up hence, thou and the the cloudy pillar ftand at
people which thou haft the rabernacle door: and
rought up out of the land all the people rofe up and
of Egypt unto the land worshipped, every man in
which i fware unto Abra- his tent door.

5 For the LORD had faid unto Mofes, Say unto the children of Ifrael, Ye are a fift-necked people: I will come up into the midit of thee in a moment, and confume thee; there fore now put off thy orna ments front thee, that. I may know what to do un to thee.

6 And th: children of Ifrael Hript themselves of their ornaments, by the mount Horeb,

13 Now therefore, I pray thee, ifI have found grace in thy fight, thew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy fight: and confider that this nation is thy people.

14 And he faid, My pre fence thall go with thee,and I will give thee reft.

15 And he faid unto him, Ifthy prefence go notwith me, carry us not up hence.

16 For

16 For wherein shall it be known here, thar I and thy people have found grace in thy fight?ls it not in that thou goeft with us? So thall we be feparared, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.

17 And the LORD faid unto Mofes, I will do this thing alfo that thou haft poken, for thou haft found grace in my fight, and I know thee by name. 18 And he faid, I befeech thee, fhew me thy glory. 19 And he faid, I will make all my goodnefs pafs before,and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will few mercy on whom I will thew mercy.

20 And he fald, Thou can not fee my face: for there fhall no manfee me, & live 21 And the LORD faid, Behold, thire is a place by me, and thou shalt ftand upon a rock.

22 And it fhall come to país, while my glory paf Teth by that I will put thee in a cleft of the rock and will cover thee with my band, while I pafs by.

23 And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt fce my back parts, but my face fhall not be feen.

CHAP. XXXIV. Nd the LORD faid unAto Mofes, Hew thee two tables of ftone like unto the firit: and I will write upon the fe tables the words that were in the first tables which thou brakeft.

2 And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinal, and prefent thy felf there to me, in the top of the mount.

3 And no man fhal come up with thee, neither ler any man be feen through out all the mount: neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount

4 And he hewed two tables of ftone, like unto

the nrft; and Mofes rofe up early in the morning, & went up unto mount sinal,as theLORD had com-. manded him, and took in his hand the two tables of tone.

5 And the LORD defcended in the cloud,and food with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.

6 And the LORD paffed
by before him, and pro
claimed, The LORD, The
Lord GOD, mercifull and
gracious, iong.fuftering
and abundant in goodnes
and truth.

7 Keeping mercy for thou
fands, forgiving iniquity
and tranfgreffion, and fin,
and that will by no means
clear the gulity, vifiring the
iniquity of the fathers up-
on the children, and upon
the childrens children,un-
to the third and to the
fourthgeneration.

8 And Mofes made hafte,
& bowed his head toward
the earth,and worshipped.

9 And he faid, If now I have found grace in thy fight, O LORD, let my LORD, I pray thee, go a mongft us (for it is a fiff. necked people)and pardon our iniquity, and our fin, and take us for thine inbe ritance.

to And he faid, Behold, I make a covenant, before all thy people, I will do marvels, fuch as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people amongft which thou art, fhall fee the work ofthe LORD: for it is a terrible thing thar I will do with thee.

11 Obferve thon that which I command thee this day: Behold, I drive out before thee the Amo rite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and rePerizzite, and the Hivire, and the Jebufite.

12 Take heed to thy felf, left thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou

14 For thou hal wor fhip no other god for the LORD, whofe Name is Jealous, is a jealous God. 15 Leff thou make a covenant with the inhabi tants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do facrifice un to their gods, and one call thee, and thou ear of his facrifice.

16 And thou take of their daughters unto thy fons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy fons go a whoring after their gods. 17 Thou halt make thee no molten gods.

18 The feaft of unleavened bread halt thou keep: Seven days halt rhou ear unleavened bread as I commanded thee in the time of the moneth A bib for in the moneth A. bis thou cameft our from Egypt.

19 All that openeth the matrix is mine: and every firaling among thy cartel, whether ox or freep, that is male.

20 But the firfling of an afs thou shalt redeem with a lamb and if thou redeem him not, then halt thou break his neck.All the firft born of thy fons thou halt redeem and none thalap, pear before me empty. 21 Six days thou shalt work, but on the feventh l day thou hair reft: in earing time, and in harveft thon halt reft.

234 Thrice in the year hail all your men children appear before the Lord GOD, the God of Israel.

24 For I will caft out the

nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders, nelther hall any man defire thy land, when thou shalt go upto appear before the LORD thy God thrice In the year.

25 Thou shalt not offer the blood of my facrifice with leaven, neither tha!! the facrifice of the feat of paffover be left unto the morning.

26 The firft of the firfte fruits of thy land thou fhalt bring unto the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not feethea kid in his mothers milk.

27 And the LORD faid unto Mofs, Write thou thefe words for after the tenour of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Ifrael. 28 And he was there with the LORD fourty days and fourty nights, he did nei ther car bread, nor drink water: and he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten com. mandments.

29 And it came to pafs when Mofes came down from mount Sinal (with the two tables of teftimony in Mofes hand, when he came down from the mount that Mofes wift not that the skin of his face thone,while he talked with him.

30 And when Aaron and all the children of lfrael faw Mofes, behold, the skin of his face thone, and they were afraid to come nigh him.

3 And Mofes called un to them; and Aaron, and all the rulers of the con gregation returned unto him: and Mofes talked with them.

32 And afterward all the children of Ifrael came nigh: and he gave them in commandment all that the LORD had spoken with him in mount Sinai.

33 And till Mofes had done fpeaking with them, he put a vall upon his face.

34 But when Mofes went In before the LORD to fpeak with him, he took the vail off, until he came out. And he came out and ipake unto the children of Iael that which he was commanded.

35 And the children of Ifrael faw the face of Mo. fes, that the skin of Mofes face thone and Mofes put the vail upon his face again. until he went in to speak with him.

CHAP. XXXV.

ANd Mofes gathered all the congregation of the children of frael together, and faid unto them, There are the words which the LORDhath command ed,that ye thould do them 2 Six days fhall work be done, but on the feventh day there that be to you an holy day, a fabbath or reft unto the LORD: whofo ever doth work therein, hall be put to death.

3 Ye mall kindle no fire throughout your habitation upon the fabbath day.

4 And Mofes fpake un to all the congregation of the children oflrael, fay, ing. This is the thing which the LORD com manded, faying;

5 Take ye from amongst you an offering unto the LORD: Whosoever is of a willing heart, ler him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and filver, and brais,

6 And blue, and purple, and fearler, and fine linen, and goats bair,

7 And rams skins died red,and badgers skins, and thirrim wood,

S And oyl for the light, and fpices for anointing pyl, and for the fweet in cenfe,

9 And onyx ftones, and ftones to be fer for the Ephod, and for the breast plate.

10 And every wife-heart 'ed am:ng you, thall come and make all that theLord bath commanded.

1 The tabernacle, his tent, and his covering, his taches, and his boards, his bars, his pillars, and his fockets,

12 The ark and the faves thereof, with the mercy. fear, and the vail of the covering."

13 The table and his ftaves, and all his veffels, and the thew bread.

14 The candlestick alfo for the light, and his furniture. and his lamps, with the oyl for the light.

15 And the incenfe altar, and his flaves, and the a nointing oyl, & the fweet incenfe, and the hangings for the door at the entring in of the tabernacle.

16 The altar of burnt-offering with his brazen grate, his ftaves, and all his veffels, the laver and his foor,

17 The hangings of the court, his pillars, & their fockets, and the hanging for the door of the court.

13 The pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords. 19 The clothes offervice, to do fervice in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the prfeft, and the garments of his fons, to miqifter In the priests. office.

20 And all the congre gation of the children of Ifrael departed from the prefence of Mofes.

21 And they came, every one whofe heart stirred him up, and every one whom his fpirit made wil ling, an1 they brought the LORDS offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his fervice, and for the holy garments.

22 And they came both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets,and ear rings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold;. and everyman thatoffered, offered an offering of gold unto the LORD,

23 And every man with ing whom was found blue,and rd purple,and fcarlet,and fine nis linen, and goars hair, and red skins of rams,and bad gers skins, brought them. 24 Every one that did offer an offering of filver, and brass, brought the LORDS offering: and evevery man with whom was found fhittim wood for ti any work of the fervice, is brought it.

25 And all the women that were wife hearted,did, fpin with their hands, and brought that which they had pun: both of blue,and, of purple, and of fcarlet, and of fine linen.

26 And all the women whofe heart ftirred them up in wifdom, fpun goats bair.

27 And the rulers brought onyx ftones, and ftones to t be fet for the ephod, and for the breaft plate,

28 And fpice, and oyl for the light, and for the anointing oyl, and for the

20 The children of Ifrael brought a willing offering unto theLORD,eyery man and woman whofe heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded, to be made,by the hand of Mofes 30 And Mofes faid unto the children of Ifrael, See, the LORD hath called by name Bezaleel the fan of Uri, the fon of Hur,of the tribe of Judah:

31 And he hath filled him with the fpirit of God, in wifdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all mannerof workmanship. 32 And to devife curious works, to work in gold, and in filver, and in brafs. 33 And in the cutting of ftones, to fet them, and in carving of wood to make any manner of cunning work.

34 And he hath put in his heart that he may reach, both he and Ahoiab the

fon of Ahifamach, of the tribe of Dan.

35 Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to. work all manner of work, of the engraver,and of the cunning work-man,and of the embroiderer, in blue,. and in purple, in fcarlet, and in fine linen, & of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devife cunning work.

CHAP. XXXVI. THen wrought Bezaleel

and Aholiab, and every wife hearted man in whom the LORDput wifdom and underflanding, to know how to work all manner of

work for the fervice of the fanctuary, according to all that the LORD had com' manded,

42 And Mofes called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wife hearted man, in. whofe hear the LORDhad pur wisdom, even every. one whofe he rt stirred him up to come unto the work to do it.

3 And they received of, Mofes all the offerings which the children of if rael had brought, for the. work of the fervice of the fanctuary, to make it with. all. And they brought yet unto him free-offerings e. very morning..

4 And all the wife men that wrought all the work of the fanctuary, came er. very man from his work which they made.

And they fpake unto Mofes, faying, The people bring much more) than enough, for the fervice of the work which the Lord commanded to make.

G And Mofes gave com-, mandment, & they caufed. Icto be proclaimed through out the camp, faying, Ler neither man nor weman make any more work for the offering of the fanétu ary. So the people were reftrained from bringing. 7 For the fluff they had 7 was fufficient for all the. work to make it, and roo 8 And
