And there came two an gels to Sodom at even; and Lot fat in the gate of Sodom and Lor feeing them,rofe up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground 2 And he faid, Behold now my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your fervants houfe, and tarry all night, and wath our feet, and ye, fhall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they fald,Na,but we will abide in the street all night. 3 And he prefed upon them greatly and they turned In unto him, and entred in to his houfe and he made them a feaft, and did bake unleavened bread,and they did ear. 4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compaffedthe houfe round, both old and young,all the people from every quarter. CHA P. XXII A Nd it came to pafs after there things, that God did tempt Abraham, & faid unto him, Abraham. And he fald, Behold, bere I am. 2 And he faid, Take now thy fon, thine only on Ifaac, whom thou loveft, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and ofter him there for a burnt-off ring upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of 3 And Abraham rofe up early in the morning, and fadled his ass,and took two of his young menwith him, and Ifaac his fon;and clave the wood for the burnt-offering, and rofe up, and went unto the place of which God had told him. 4 Then on the third day Abraham lift up his eyes, and faw the place a far off. 5 And Abraham fald unto his young men, Abide you here with the afs; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you. 6 And Abraham took the woodof the burnt offering, and laid it upon Ifaac his fon; and he took the fit And they came to the place which God had told him off, and Abraham builg an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Ifaac his fon, and laid him on the altar upon thewood 10 And Abraham ftretched forth his hand, and took the knife to day his fon. 11 And the angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and fald, Abra ham, Abraham.
