I WILL bless the

Lord-at all times:

His praise shall con | tin-ually | be in-my |

mouth.

My soul shall make her | boast-in the | Lord: The humble shall | hear-thereof, | and-be | glad.

O magnify the Lord-with | me,

And let us ex alt-his | name-together.
I sought the Lord and-he | heard me,
And delivered | me-from | all-my | fears.
They looked unto him, | and—were | lightened:
And their faces-were | not—a shamed.
This poor man cried, and the | Lo-rd | heard
him,

And saved him | out-of | all—his | troubles.
The angel of the Lord encampeth round about |
them that fear him,
And-deliver-eth | them.

O taste and see that the Lord-is | good :
Blessed is the | man-that | trusteth-in | him.
O fear the Lord, ye-his | saints:

For there is no want to them-that | fear him.

The young lions do lack, and | suf-fer | hunger: But they that seek the Lord | shall not-want any-good thing.

Come, ye children, hearken | un-to | me:
I will teach you the | fear of the Lord.
What man is he that de | sir-eth | life,

And loveth many | days,-that he may-see | good?

Keep thy tongue-from evil,

And thy lips-from | speak--ing | guile.
Depart from evil, | and-do | good;
Seek | pea-ce, and-pur | sue it.

The eyes of the Lord are up righteous,

To cut off the remembrance | of them | from→ the earth.

The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a | broken heart;

And saveth such as | be-of a | con— -trite | spirit.

Many are the afflictions | of-the | righteous; But the Lord delivereth | him out of— them all.

He keepeth | all-his | bones:
Not one-of them-is | broken.

Evil shall slay-the | wicked:

THE transgression of the wicked saith with | in-my heart,

That there is no fear of God-be | fore-his |

eyes.

For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, Until his iniquity be fou-nd | to-be | hateful.

The words of his mouth are iniquity | and-de | ceit :

He hath left off to be | wi-se, | and to-do | good.

He deviseth mischief up | on-his | bed;

He setteth himself in a way that is not good: |
he-ab horreth-not | evil.

Thy mercy, O Lord, | is in--the heavens,
And thy faithfulness | reach-eth | unto-the |
clouds.

Thy righteousness is like the-great | moun-
tains;

Thy | judg―ments | are a-great | deep:

O Lord, thou preservest | man-and beast.
How excellent is, thy | loving kindness,-
O God!

Therefore the children of men | put-their |

trust

Under the shadow | of-thy | wings.

satisfied

They shall be abundant-house;

With the fatness | of-thy
And thou shalt | make-them | drink
Of the river | of-thy | pleasures.

For with thee is the

fountain-of life:

In thy light-shall we see | light.

O continue thy lovingkindness unto themthat know thee;

And thy righteousness | to-the | upright— in heart.

Let not the foot of pride | come-a | gainst me, And let not the hand-of the wicked-re |

move me.

There are the workers of iniquity | fallen : They are cast down, and shall not-be | able to rise.

AS the hart panteth | after-the | water brooks, So panteth my soul-after | thee,-O | God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the | liv-ing | God:

When shall I come and appear-be | fo-re | God?

My tears have been my meat | day-and | night,
While they continually say unto
is thy God?

When I remember-these things,
I pour out-my | sou-1 | in me:

me,-Where

For I had gone with-the | multitude,

I went with them | to-the house-of | God, With the voice of | joy-and | praise,

With a multitude that | ke-pt | ho-ly | day.

Why art thou cast down, | O-my | soul?

[ocr errors]

And why art thou-dis | quiet-ed in me? Hope thou-in | God:

For I shall yet praise him | for-the | help of his countenance.

O my God, my soul is cast | down-with | in me: There fore-will | I-remember thee

From the land of Jordan, and of-the | Hermonites,

From the | hi-11 | Mizar.

Deep calleth un- -to deep

At the noise | of-thy waterspouts :
All thy waves and-thy | billows

Ar | e-gone over | me.

Yet the Lord-will com | mand

His loving kind- -ness | in-the daytime,
And in the night his song-shall be with me,
And my prayer | unto the | God of-my | life.
I will say unto | God-my | roek,

Why hast thou-for got-ten | me?
Why go-I mourning

Because of the op | press-ion | of-the | enemy?

As with a sword in-my | bones,
Mine | enemies-reproach me ;
While they say daily un-to me,
Whe -re is thy God?

Why art thou cast down | O-my soul?
And why art thou-dis quieted-with | in me?
Hope thou-in | God :

For I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, | and-my | God.
