THEN went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, a the kinsman of whom Boaz spake came by: unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down.

The wickedness of Eli's sons.

11 T And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.

4 So the people sent to Shiloh, that they might bring from thence the ark of the covenant of the LORD of hosts, bwhich dwelleth between the cherubim and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God.
