And she called his name Moses: and she said, Because I drew him out of the water. 11 T And it came to pass in those days, fwhen Moses was grown, that he went out unto his brethren, and looked on their burdens: and he spied an Egyptian smiting a Hebrew, one of his brethren. 12 And he looked this way and that way, and when he saw that there was no man, he h slew the Egyptian, and hid him in the sand. 13 And i when he went out the second day, behold, two men of the Hebrews strove together: and he said to him that did the wrong, Wherefore smitest thou thy fellow? 14 And he said, k Who made thee ta prince and a judge over us? intendest thou to kill me, as thou killedst the Egyptian? And he put his hand into his bosom again; and plucked it out of his bosom, and, behold, it was turned again as hise other flesh. 8 And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe thee, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign. 9 And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these two signs, neither hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of the water of the river, and pour it upon the dry land: and fthe water which thou takest out of the river † shall become blood upon the dry land. 10 T And Moses said unto the LORD, O my Lord, I am not feloquent, neither theretofore, nor since+ thou hast spoken unto thy servant; but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue. d Num.12.10. 2 Kin, 5, 27. THEN the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for a with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land. 2 And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am || the LORD: 3 And I appeared unto Abraham, God reneweth his promise. unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the!
