3 Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways d to that which destroyeth kings.

4 It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink:

5 fLest they drink, and forget the law, and † pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.

6 Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that bef of heavy hearts.

7 Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery

no more.

CHAPTER V.

KEEP athy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.

2 Be not-rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any || thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.

3 For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and da fool's voice is known by multitude of words.
