Senator Bradley submitted the following reports from the Committee on Enrolled Bills, which were read:

MR. PRESIDENT: Your Committee on Enrolled Bills have carefully examined and find trully enrolled Senate bill No. 118, entitled "An act to amend sections 841 and 846 of article 3, chapter 21 of the Revised Statutes of 1879, entitled Railroad classification-charges-commissioners.""

MR. PRESIDENT: Your Committee on Enrolled Bills have carefully examined and find truly enrolled Senate bill No. 147, entitled “An act to provide for the manner of submission of constitutional amendments to a vote of the people."

MR. PRESIDENT:

Your Committee on Enrolled Bills have carefully examined and find truly enrolled Senate bill No. 64, entitled "An act to provide for the making of settlements with the State Auditor and State Treasurer, and the examination of the condition and affairs of State offices generally, the Governor's excepted, in cases where such ⚫ settlement has not been or shall not be made, or has not been or shall not be reported to and acted on by the General Assembly, as required by law."

MR. PRESIDENT:

Your Committee on Enrolled Bills have carefully examined and find truly enrolled Senate joint and concurrent resolution No. 2, instructing our Senators and requesting our Representatives in Congress to use all means in their representative capacity to establish an efficient territorial government in the Indian Territory, and to open the public lands in said Territory, belonging to the gov ernment, to settlement under the homestead and preemption laws of the United States.

The President announced that all other business would be suspended, and directed the Secretary to read at length the following Senate bills:

Senate bill No. 118, entitled "An act to amend sections 841 and 846 of article 3, chapter 21, of the Revised Statutes of Missouri of 1879, entitled Railroad classifications-charges-commissioners ;"

Senate bill No. 147, entitled "An act to provide for the submission of constitutional amendments to a vote of the people;"

Senate bill No. 64, entitled "An act to provide for the making of settlements with the State Auditor and State Treasurer, and the examination of the condition and affairs of State offices generally, the Governor's excepted, in cases where such settlement has not been or shall not be made, or has not been or shall not be reported to and acted on by the General Assembly, as required by law;"

And Senate joint and concurrent resolution No. 2, entitled "Joint

and concurrent resolution instructing our Senators and requesting our Representatives in Congress to use all means in their representative capacity to establish an efficient territorial government in the Indian Territory, and to open the public lands in said territory belonging to the government to settlement under the homestead and pre-emption laws of the United States ;" and stated that unless objections be made he would sign said bills to the end that each may become a law. Senate bill No. 118 was read at length by the Secretary; and the presiding officer, no objection being made, in the presence of the Senate, in open session, no other business intervening, affixed his signature thereto; said bill was also signed by the Secretary. Senate bill No. 147 was read at length by the Secretary; and the presiding officer, no objection being made, in the presence of the Senate, in open session, no other business intervening, affixed his signature thereto; said bill was also signed by the Secretary. Senate bill No. 64 was read at length by the Secretary; and the presiding officer, no objections being made, in the presence of the Senate, in open session, no other business intervening, affixed his signature thereto; said bill was also signed by the Secretary. Senate joint and concurrent resolution No. 2 was read at length by the Secretary; no objection being made, the presiding officer, in the presence of the Senate, in open session, no other business intervening, affixed his signature thereto; said bill was also signed by the Secretary.

Also, House bill No. 79, entitled "An act entitled an act to provide for the giving of bond by ex officio collector of county revenue❞— In which the concurrence of the Senate is respectfully requested. Senate bill No. 11, entitled "An act to amend chapter 62 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, entitled 'Of recorders of deeds," was taken up, read third time and passed by the following vote:
