OR, Things Old and New Concerning Jesus. BY HENRY H. BOURN, Author of "Letters to the Working Classes on Important Subjects," AN 78 LONDON: S. W. PARTRIDGE & CO., 1869. 101. f. 237. PREFACE. THE author considers it due to his readers to state that some portions of this volume, although not in so complete a form, have appeared in one of the leading denominational magazines. The thanks which he received from several persons for those articles have induced him to publish them in their present form, in connection with subjects of equal interest and importance to students of God's Word. The author hopes it will be discovered that the following pages contain nothing but what is in perfect harmony with the Scriptures. The desire of the writer has been, that he might under Divine direction lead his readers to discover more of the fulness which there is in the person and work of Jesus. With the hope and prayer that God may be glorified, the work is committed to Him without whose blessing no good can be accomplished.
